As shown in these photos, it fits a newborn baby quite beautifully and can be used from birth. This one-size line is in ADDITION to the classic AppleCheeks sized system (sizes 1, 2 & 3). I had ne ver tried Applecheeks, but when a great sale came around I decided to snag two of these to try on Baby J. The envelope cover was intriguing to me as well as the sizing. There are many positive reviews for applecheeks but they are my least favorite diaper, constant leaks since birth with both types of inserts even though she has super chubby thighs. Thanks for the review confirming that I’m NOT crazy. We bought several of these for my newborn. He weighed 8lbs at birth, and I am also finding the elastic to be too tight even for a newborn in the size one. I was positive I didn’t buy a preemie size, but I just had to google to check what the weight range was for the size 1 (7-20 lbs). I wouldn’t buy another Applecheeks AIO because the fit was small on my 30lb 2.5 year old. Much like the OS AppleCheeks cover, I find the one size fit not as nice as the sized variations and this is reflected into the AIO design. I don’t love the low rise snaps and think the diaper could be even 1/2 inch bigger for a better fit on bigger babies.
